BOISE, Idaho — Four young adults have been arrested in Boise following a string of vehicle burglaries where firearms and other items were stolen out of locked and unlocked vehicles, according to the Boise Police.
Boise Police, Meridian Police, Garden City Police, and Ada County Sheriff's Deputies worked together to investigate the four suspects, and execute a search and arrest warrant on Tuesday. SWAT teams were activated due to the suspects alleged violent crimes and access to firearms. Officers at both homes utilitized robots and a drone to survey the home before making entry.
The four suspects, Kalehe Byriringiro, Isiak Hatwibu, Samuel Nsanzamahoro, Sefu Idi have been arrested on charges ranging from aggravated assault to grand theft and aiding and abetting.
Authorities began investigating the suspects after several vehicle burglaries where firearms and other items were stolen out of locked and unlocked vehicles. Officers also received reports of violence involving the suspects including the possible involvement in a shooting where shots were fired, and a 17-year-old girl was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries in Garden City and another in Boise.
